Plants In Our Garden

Plants In Our Garden
By Taylor and Jillian

We’re planting in 4 different earth
materials. One of the students has only sand in his and if it was just a little taller it would touch the light as a sustains for the sun. We took some soil from our worm bin to help the other plants grow. Don’t over water you plant(s) and do it a little at a time. Some plants are growing and the ones that are being watered are growing a little. Now that’s weird! Most of our plants are in the garden.

These are our plants growing well in the rack

Student Art Slideshow

Hello Class,
Here is a sideshow that Hanna and Martha put together. They took all the photos, uploaded them, then added captions. Enjoy,

Worm Bin

This is a picture of food scraps in our worm bin. The shredded paper absorbs moisture from the food scraps and the worms like to eat it.

This is a picture of worms crawling in their own mountain of castings.

This is a picture of someones banana peel. The worms eat it and make compost for our plants.
